Wooden bridge in a forest with tall trees.

I am a disciple-in-training who has learned to love Jesus after years of following Him in name only. I have tasted the things of this world and found them to be counterfeits leading to a powerless, bankrupt life devoid of true joy and contentment.

I am not a perfect man living a flawless life. Each day I must contend with the enemy of my soul and strive to crucify my flesh. In the midst of this battle, I’m learning to depend on Jesus and not myself for everything I need.

I’m not against the Church…I am for Jesus.

In fact, I’m passionate about Him. I can think of nothing more worthy of my brief time on Earth than knowing, loving, and following Jesus. The abundant life He offers each of His children exceeds anything we could possibly experience from the world. It is not the abundance of wealth, health, possessions, or imagined bubbles of security. Instead, it is the abundance of Him—His love, His freedom, His protection, His peace.

It is a fact within the modern Church that most who call themselves Christians and the religious organizations they belong to have strayed far from the teachings and intentions of Jesus.

Though Jesus may know them, they do not really know Him.

Everything that Jesus is, all that He wants from us, the many ways He operates—these have become confused in a whirlwind of presuppositions, misguided teachings, and arrogant musings.

Even so, there is hope for those who want to know…

It is possible to become a close follower and disciple of Jesus—one of the few among the many.

And that’s the focus of this site—to provide tools to help you know Jesus more fully and enable your personal walk with Him.

Some of the content may be familiar, some totally new. Taken as a whole, it is intended to give you a glimpse into the incomprehensible heart of Jesus—God with us.

I encourage you to join me in pursuing the joy of walking daily with Jesus.
